III - Studio
Art
Students
receive advanced
instruction in different media and techniques. They are
involved in various projects, building on principles learned
in Drawing and Design classes. Various media are employed such as;
charcoal, chalk, pastel, oil paint, silk screen, watercolor,
pottery, and pen and ink. Vocabulary and terminology are
emphasized and art history is integrated into the course.
Students are required to work in a sketchbook weekly and
will keep their work in a portfolio.
